Chapter 7-14

Generation Wrap-up

 After finally recognizing he needs to change, Cerulean cleaned up his act. He was no longer running on impulse, and things remained calm. He put his excess energy into music, and I must say he's gotten pretty good at it.

Cyan: Cerulean, your mother and I just want to let you know that we are proud of you. You've been doing well for yourself these past several months, and we want to make sure we noticed. Thank you for doing this...for everyone.
Cerulean: Thanks, Dad. I feel so much better now too. I'm not so stressed out all the time. I appreciate that you guys stopped me from going down that road.
Cyan: I know you'll be moving out soon to be with Aqua and the baby. I wish you the best, son. If you need anything, we're here for you.
Cerulean: Will do; I love you guys.
Belle: Good luck, sweetie. We'll miss having you around. Let us know when the baby comes. We're excited to meet our granddaughter.

Cerulean: Of course. Goodbye Mom, Dad.

If he keeps on the straight and narrow, he'll be a great dad, and I'm excited to see what the future holds for him. He grabs his things and leaves for his new home, anticipating the arrival of his daughter.

The baby was born a couple weeks later. They named her Mint.

Celadon had moved out a little before Cerulean, and their daughter was born around the same time. Her name is Cherry, and thankfully she is Celadon's daughter, not Cerulean as they feared.

All of the individuals involved had decided to put the past behind them and pretend it never happened. They want to focus on the present and raising their daughters.

The girls aged in a blink of an eye. They are the cutest little toddlers.

Mint is a combination of both parents with Cerulean's skin and eyes and Aqua's hair.

Cherry looks mostly like Magenta, but has Celadon's bright blue eyes which further confirms that Celadon is her father.

The younger two boys, Neptune and Viridian have become very close upon becoming teenagers.

 Neptune has come out as gay, which is totally cool with us. He has a boyfriend named Key Lime.

Once they finished high school, they decided to move to the city together. Being that it's quite a distance away, we probably won't see them too often.

With Neptune gone, that just leaves Viridian and Indigo, our youngest two. By this point Indigo is a child. After all the boys declined the offer, Belle and I decided that Indigo will be our heir, our hope to carry on the next generation.

 It's bittersweet to see the kids grow up and move on with their lives. We don't get to see them everyday anymore because of their busy lives, but it's comforting to know they are all doing well for themselves. As Belle and I are nearing our elderly years, it's nice to be able to relax and enjoy the ride. 

Once Indigo is old enough, we'll pass the torch to her. Who knows how she will handle the burden of being the heir. 

Only time will tell.
