We didn't wait very long before taking the plunge, about two months. We had a small, quaint wedding at home with just my family (Mac doesn't have any). We wanted this moment to be private so having a wedding at a public venue was out of the question. My dad officiated the marriage.
Chantilly decided to be our little ring-bearer. She wanted to help, so we gave her this task. She absolutely loved being included.
We had a great little ceremony, and just spent the night with the family.
With that, we are officially a family. Now, we can focus on moving forward and expanding our horizons, both personally and career-wise.
